Image capture is done by a 12.2-megapixel CMOS sensor with backside lighting for better light-gathering functions. And with the onboard Nikkor f/1.8 lens, night photography should be a breeze. There’s even a Night Landscape feature where the camera takes consecutive shots and combines them into one, crisp shot. Fans of High Dynamic Range (HDR) photography will also be glad to know that the P300 has built-in HDR functions for high contrast shots. $330.
