Olympus wants their coverage as clean and as precise as possible that’s why they’re offering the DM-620 Recorder. It uses the ‘TRESMIC System’, which in street parlance, means three mics. There’s the standard stereo mic plus a third, low-frequency mic for clarity. Frequencies as low as 20 kHz could be picked up by the third mic. Not in Barry White territory but close. The DM-620 even features a remote function that activates the device when you can’t be physically near the speaker or the subject you wanna record.
