Marisa Ramirez Posted: 06 Mar 2011 08:39 AM PST One neurotic agent from TV once coined that daytime soap operas have only varying levels of bad. That may hold true for the acting but the babes playing those different roles are certainly noteworthy. Like Marisa Ramirez who saw action in ‘Days of our Lives’ and ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’. Nowadays, you can see her as a slave girl in ‘Spartacus: Gods of the Arena’. She could be an average actress but Marisa got the goddess part right.

3M Smart Pen Posted: 06 Mar 2011 07:52 AM PST Maybe you’re making a challenge for the Guinness World Record as the numbskull with the world’s longest fingernails or you have abnormally fat fingers. Either way, when you made a jump to the touch screen/smartphone bandwagon, you’re screwed. Unless you have the 3M Smart Pen. Basically, the nouveau-stylus allows you to access the capacitive touchscreen of the iPhone, iPad and similar devices accurately. Two models are available: the MHP-1000 with a ballpen-like cap and the more expensive MJP-3000 that comes with a lease for those with a habit of losing styluses (or is it styli?). $16+. Share This |
Nixon 51-30 Chrono Raw Steel Posted: 06 Mar 2011 05:00 AM PST There’s something manly and beautiful with raw steel – except for that stupid movie involving Shaquille O’Neal. Shaq may be big and may use steel gratuitously in that flick but he’s got nothing on the Nixon 51-30 Chrono Raw Steel. The 51-mm-wide wristwatch should fit nicely even for dudes over 7-feet tall and with arms the size of small trees. Movement for the 51-30 is a Japanese quartz with three sub-dials and a date window. Nothing fancy or garish about this watch, just like Shaq’s ballgame. Though he still sucks at the free throw line and in front of movie cameras. $450. Share This |
Bianca Biccard Posted: 05 Mar 2011 10:30 PM PST Visualizing your dream is already halfway towards accomplishing it. Bianca Biccard knows that fully well. This Johannesburg native wants to become an actress and we’re pretty sure she’ll get what she wants. Who can say no to a lovely babe like her? She loves to be near the ocean, or somewhere when she can see it. Unfortunately for us gentlemen, her heart’s already taken. We’re just here to admire the view.

Panasonic Lumix FX78 Posted: 05 Mar 2011 10:04 PM PST Photography is all about perception but sometimes, manipulation is king. When photographers can’t hack it, they rely on something called ‘post-production’ to save their sorry behinds. But Panasonic does even better with the Lumix FX78/FX77. They included the ‘post’ within the camera which include Cosmetic and Beauty Retouch Modes. Choose the color and skin tone or soften those unwanted wrinkles for a glamorous look. Reshape your face or eyes for a more fabulous profile photo. Of course, the camera’s intended for the ladies but that’s the whole point of retouch right? $TBA. Share This |
Belkin FlipBlade Posted: 05 Mar 2011 09:39 PM PST Trust Belkin to conjure products for newly-released Apple gizmos immediately. They’re teasing a few tricks for the iPad 2, including the FlipBlade. Price and availability will soon follow. $TBA. Share This |
